The sustainability label developed by Svensk Camping is designed to help the camping industry work with sustainability in a more systematic and long-term way.

Svensk Camping’s sustainability label consists of more than 71 criteria across eleven areas, as defined in the Svensk Camping Standard. Some criteria are mandatory and must be fulfilled, while others are flexible. To qualify for the industry’s sustainability label, a campsite must meet all mandatory requirements.

A sustainability declaration is completed every 12 months, and advisory visits by authorised system advisors are carried out regularly.
